After 293 days of uptime I had to reboot my Raspberry pi. Because of a bad wind storm the power kept cycling up and down on the network switch the Raspberry pi was connected to. For some reason after it happened 20 or so times the Raspberry locked up and I had to reboot it to get it back. The Raspberry never lost power but it could not deal with the NIC going up and down like it did. To help stop the issue in the future I moved the network connection to a network switch that is connected to a big very UPS. It really sucks I wanted to hit the one year uptime mark.
